It serves as a link between the Institution and the Alumni

With its publication "L'Echo de St Gabriel", the Amicale Association not only enables Old Girls and Boys to meet up and exchange news, but also follow the developments of the Institution via its articles and news section and maybe even contribute.

Helps pupils throughout their schooling within the establishment

At the very least, via its national network, the Amicale association gives pupils the benefit of its members' competencies: 

• Sandwich courses.
• Guidance: gives benefit of the skills, curricula choices and experiences of former pupils, either in classes or in one-to-one meetings.

Provides a mutual aid service

- Vacancies and applications. Creation of an Employment grant.
- Help for students includes:

• Benefit of personal assistance
• Resources in the main student sections. The alumni assist young students fresh out of St. Gabriel with: accommodation, integration into a new environment, matching supply and demand in various fields...
• Search for a job, or a course.
• Mutual assistance fund: lends assistance to former pupils of St. Gabriel having difficulty paying off student fees.
• LThe Directory: this contains a list of old boys/girls and their respective job and geographical sectors.

Promotes the Saint Gabriel institution and the specific nature of Catholic Education

Old boys/girls lend their interest and support to the development of St. Gabriel. Some go further by becoming active players:

• By taking part in Open Days.
• By promoting the establishment and its values.
• By giving their testimonials of life at St. Gabriel.
• By putting future parents and pupils in contact with the Institution.
• By staging ad-hoc initiatives: conferences, contributions on Student or Professional working life.

Organises Alumni meetings by geographical sector, promotion or class

by making the following logistics available to the alumni :

• Amicale (files, directory, etc..).
• Institution (reception infrastructures, etc..).
